Chavez has claimed victory…what now for Venezuela?

What next? In a word, violence. Less than three weeks ago, opposition leader Carlos Andres Perez said that Chavez must “die like a dog, because he deserves it”. Yup, the same Perez that compunded Venezuela’s poverty with his particular brand of corruption and IMF-sponsored idiocy.
CAP says that only through violence can Chavez be removed - violence that would be followed by a two-to-three year period of junta rule whilst he dismantles the Supreme Court and National Assembly.
You couldn’t make this stuff up.
