On my last trip I sat around waiting to find out what was going on "in the world". Stupidly I waited for the top of the hour... whereupon I watched a story of some bear being rescued somewhere. There is absolutely no 'content', just headlines, no analysts, no commentary, just sound bites. And not vary many, and always in constant repeats, as if the American public could only retail five subjects at a time. Pure indoctrination, mind numbing indoctrination.
