  1. I publish an e-zine. I pay for internet access. People have to subscribe and verify their email address. Don’t like what I write, unsubscribe.

    But charge per email? What’s the justification – to have people pay for the cost of fighting spam. Why do it and threaten one of the core underpinnings of the Internet when network operators can reduce spam by implementing the Sender Policy Framework, place the Turn Tide Router on your network and support the Trusted Email Open Standard as championed by CAUCE.
