A reason not to buy an iPod – you are definately going to be a target with those white headphones. Get black ones for god’s sake! I know I will be looking after my 6630 with great care.

The first thing I did when I got mine last year was to get a different set of earphones. I was using it while walking in the Phoenix Park and felt that the white earphones were like wearing a t-shirt with “I have an iPod – please mug me” written on it. (Also the fact that I have never been able to fit loose earphones into me ear’oles.)
I posted something on these lines a while ago. One reply told of a t-shirt doing the rounds with “Don’t mug him till you see the whites of his iPod” on it.
Seems to be that anyone that has any kind of sense would spend less money on a better device. Not taking into account the fashion victims out there of course 😉
i have heard a rumour that, apple is offering new pair of earphones, of course with new colors 🙂
Or just paint your headphone cords black with a magic marker, it works great; cuz the white iPod ones are a “dead” giveaway.
I have a Shuffle, and I use their most excellent Sport Case, a must for the Shuttle, and some black cord headphones I had would fit in to the Shuffle, but WOULD NOT work with the Sport Case, some others must.
Rip an iPod off someone and run into the street and get smashed by a truck, and iCheer, yup, you deserved it.
