Tall ships my arse.
I was in the South of France for (but not because of) Bastille Day and the fireworks display on the beach, with about 10-15,000 for company, was absolutely spectacular and earned a huge round of applause from the massive crowd toward the anonymous perpetrators. Oh, and it was 30 degrees at 11pm!! Modesty forbids me any further comment
