Two things,
First thanks to Alex over at the Adam Smith Institute for blogrolling me, I shall add a link shortly. I have dropped into them on occassion, their parties always look good.
Second, I purchased a wireless 802.11b/g gateway, and am having difficulty getting onto the Internet through it. I will ask for advice if I can’t get it sorted soon. Anyone have any experience of this?

The D12 underground EP was released in 1997. The 10 track CD is Bugz’ first appearence on a CD.It will make you appreciate D12’s deceased member’s huge talent.
True D12 and hip hop lovers will appreciate the particular Detroit ghetto taste of D12’s underground EP.
The tape is also interesting for enlightening the D12’s individual talent. The sound of a bass is the background will give you a precise idea of the dark athmosphere of the Detroit streets.
The first track, “6 Reasons”, is an invitation not to mess with the Runyan Ave soldiers you already know. It also introduces you in their sick world of weapons, drugs and alcohol. The song is fullfilled with humor and you will probably enjoy sentences like these:
“I make hardcore groups like Wu Tang
Look like the Village People (fags)”
Don’t be amazed: Eminem is not named in the EP as a full part member, he only features some songs. In fact, Eminem became the sixth member of D12 at Bugz’ death. The group was facing a terrible loss (also artistically) and needed a creative new member. That’s how Slim Shady became an official D12 member.
The second song, Art Of War, is offensive and sarcastic as well. The D12 members want to show up with a brand bew and original rapping style, as it is summarized by the following sentence:
“Tired of niggas rapping the same
Talking the same, ya, hah
Living in the same place
What style is Proof gonna do this time?”
The D12 street soldiers will kill you verbally: the war on the mic has just begun. For those who ever doubted the D12 members individual talents, go listen to their underground EP. It will convice you of their genuine value as great gangsta rappers.
An aggressive Kon Artis will totally scare you in “Derelict Theme”. Don’t worry, it’s only for the show:

“Chance To Advance” is a collaboration with Eye Kyu that also features Eminem. The best part of the song is certainly Bizarre’s part. You will recognize the ill rhymer you already know:

If you’re fond of the typical Dirty Dozen sound and sense of humor, you probably gonna enjoy “Activity as Phuctivity”. It goes with the motto “Fuck everybody”.
“Filthy” will make you appreciate a younger Eminem with incisive skills. “Cock and Squeeze” will also make you enjoy Bugz who introduces the song:

Bugz’ style is original and mixed up with ill wordplays. He was gifted and well weaponed as a battle MC.

An armed group in Iraq has kidnapped an Egyptian diplomat in Baghdad, the Egyptian embassy in the capital says.
Arab Al-Jazeera TV named the diplomat as Mohamed Mamdouh Qutb and said he had been abducted following comments by Egyptian Prime Minister Ahmed Nazif.

We have 25,000 genes (or recipes for protein molecules) which is the same as a mouse, just 6,000 more than a microscopic nematode worm and 15,000 fewer than a rice plant. However sophisticated our brains are, it is not reflected in our genes. This has led some to suggest that we have been exaggerating the role of genes in shaping our brains. In fact, it reminds us that recipes are more than lists of ingredients. How those ingredients are cooked is also crucial. And the instructions for cooking up a body are hidden in the genome too – between the genes themselves.
Here are some interesting facts about the prairie vole brain:
One example: the existence of a 400-letter phrase of repetitious text in the promoter of the vasopressin receptor gene of a prairie vole turns the rodent monogamous. That phrase alters the location of expression of the gene in the rodent’s brain, making it active in the ventral pallidum, which contains a dopamine system that is responsible for addictive behaviour. A prairie vole therefore becomes “socially addicted” to its mate following sex, which is a grand way of saying it falls in love. A montane vole, lacking the 400-letter phrase, does not.
Human beings also have a repetitious phrase in this same region of the genome, though it is shorter than in prairie voles. As of this writing, the equivalent region of the chimpanzee genome has not yet been looked at. I predict it will be shorter than the human one, because humans commonly form long-term pair bonds, while chimpanzees commonly do not.
Multiply this example 10,000 or 20,000 times and you have explained how human nature differs from chimpanzee nature or vole nature. Make no mistake: this is theoretically possible. But in practice, it is an infinite task, because no sooner have you identified the “human” version than you will have to start defining how each individual slightly differs from it, and how each of those differences will cause you to recalculate the effect of the 25,000 other genes in the new context, and then the effect of those changes, and so on ad infinitum. As usual, far from closing mysteries, science opens new ones.
